## How canvas export works
Canvases export as PNG images only. You export what's visible on screen, so position your canvas before exporting.

## Exporting a canvas
**To export:**

1. Open the canvas you want to export
2. Pan and zoom to show the area you want to capture
3. Click the **three-dot menu** in the top right
4. Select **Export**
5. Only the open canvas will be selected (cannot export other documents at the same time)
6. Click **Export**
7. Canvas exports as PNG and downloads to your device

**Tip**
Use "Fit to Screen" or zoom out to capture your entire canvas in one export.

## Important notes
**Export captures what you see:**

- The visible area on screen is what gets exported
- Pan and zoom to position your canvas before exporting
- Make sure all important nodes are visible

**Export limitations:**

- Only PNG format available
- One canvas at a time
- Cannot combine with document exports
- Cannot export as PDF, DOCX, or other formats
